We love to grab a bite to eat at Pippa's. It is our go to spot for lunch any day of the week. We dine here often because of the friendly servers, great food, and great prices. We like the comfortable booths and the great patio.

Google suggested Pippa's Place for a bite on my trip home from Charlotte. I was pleasantly surprised to find a grouper wrap on the menu and ordered it blackened with a side of onion rings. The server was upfront when I asked about the rings, noting they were pre-made with heavy breading but still flavorfull. They were exactly as described -heavy on the batter and light on the onion but tasty nonetheless. The wrap featured lettuce, tomato, and a spicy mayo. While the flavor combination was good, the condiments overpowered the fish. I ended up scraping out the grouper to eat it solo; it was cooked well and flavorful on its own but not really enough of it. The service was friendly and attentive and the sports bar atmosphere appealing with plenty of TVs. I would probably visit again to try a different menu item and give them a second chance.

Pippa’s Cafe has such a cool, homey atmosphere. It feels comfortable and relaxed, and I loved that there are TVs everywhereβ€”you can easily find something you actually want to watch or use the remote at your table to change the channel. It makes it a great spot to hang out and stay awhile. The food was good overall. The mac and cheese was more saucy than cheesy, so if you’re expecting a thicker, cheesier texture, just keep that in mind. The Caesar dressing was definitely different from what I’m used toβ€”it tasted more creamy than tangy and honestly seemed homemade, which made it unique compared to the typical Caesar flavor. Overall, it’s a cozy local spot with a great vibe, plenty of TVs, and solid food. I’d definitely come back and try more from the menu.

We arrived at 2 PM, so we intentionally picked this time to miss the lunch & dinner crowd. Atmosphere was quiet and they had a lot of TVs, even our booth had a TV. Our waitress was awesome! I had the Pepe Burger (8 oz. Burger) with American Cheese & the seasoned Shoestring Fries, my wife had the Smoked Brisket Sandwich (with no bun) & Onion Rings. My burger had that obvious char broiled flavor. It was good. My fries were shoestring fries. Because they are skinny fries by nature, they don't stay hot long. So you better eat them fast. That's the only drawback with these fries. However they were tasty. My wife said her Brisket was okay and the Onion Rings were very good. So overall we gave the food a 4. Prices were just a touch high. The restaurant is located in Edison Square Plaza right off of Eastfield Road. Plenty of parking available. We will come back and try something different. They have a large menu with plenty to choose from. Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy the atmosphere & food!
